We recognise and value the incredible work our Te Hopai Volunteers do. Recently we held a Volunteers Appreciation Evening, providing a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to meet each other and be thanked personally by Board Members and management.
The highlight of the evening was some of our volunteers performing;
Rosie Knight who sings opera to our residents each week kindly offered to perform a few songs, followed by the Whakaahuru Singers who provide comfort to people near the end of life with gentle, soothing songs.
A great opportunity to mingle with each other and learn what everyone brings to Te Hopai to make it the place it is.
