In 2019 the Sutherland Self Help Trust gave Te Hopai a Grant to assist us with the implementation of our patient management system, including purchasing tablets for resident and family access.
We are extremely grateful for the donation and the boost it gave the development of our technology.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, we were able to ‘repurpose’ the functionality of the Tablets to allow easy access residents Skyping with their family/whānau. If we had not had that resource available to us, it would have been much more difficult to keep those communication pathways open.
The Sutherland Self Help Trust provides grants to community organisations throughout New Zealand and, as recipients of grants from them, we wanted to again let them know how much we appreciate the assistance they offer to us. Thank you!
