Denise Church is a Wellington based company director. She brings wide ranging experience from public, private and not for profit sectors. Recent roles include chairing Airways NZ, Predator Free 2050 Ltd, ESR, and Zealandia. Denise has a keen interest in effective governance, and how organisations and individuals sustain their success in changing times. Denise is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
Through her company Leadership Matters, Denise also supports leadership and strategy development activities for senior teams and boards. Denise’s earlier career was in environmental management, where she was Chief Executive of Ministry for the Environment.
Denise is involved in a range of community activities from Scouts to Rotary to her local church. She enjoys the outdoors – tramping, skiing and biking -and time with her family
