Te Hopai is thankful for the donation this month of $15,000. The private donor wanted to recognise the excellent and committed work done by essential staff at Te Hopai during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The donation has distributed $100 to all eligible staff helping support them and their families.
During 2019/2020 the following funds have also been distributed to Te Hopai staff, reflecting the generosity and gratitude from families.
$14,890 in Jan 2020, from 22 families, $130 each to eligible staff
$16,650 in Aug 2019, from 23 families, $150 each to eligible staff
$14,000 in Feb 2019, from 20 families $125 each to eligible staff
To be eligible, staff must have worked for 6 months and work over 10 hours per week.
We want to thank all staff for their commitment and hard work, and take a moment to reflect and remember those residents who are no longer with us.
